When our client, Haley, envisioned her ideal kitchen, she wanted more than just a refresh — she wanted a complete transformation. More storage, a larger island, and a space that finally matched the home she’d been building. Eagle Construction delivered all of that in just three weeks, turning an outdated kitchen into something truly stunning.

Project Outline
- A clean slate
The project began with careful protection of surrounding areas, followed by full demolition — cabinets, countertops, hardwood, carpet, baseboards, a closet, walls, and vinyl flooring were all removed and disposed of.
- Electrical upgrades
All electrical work was brought to plan and code, including two new recessed lights and three island provisions for the new appliance layout.
- Plumbing relocated
Plumbing was updated to match the new kitchen configuration, including repositioning the dishwasher and relocating the gas line to the range.
- Fresh walls and subfloor
Drywall was repaired and installed where needed, finished paint-ready. OSB underlayment was added to level the new LVP areas with existing doorways.
- Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring throughout
Mohawk Solid Tech Select LVP in Emerald Waters/Rutledge was installed across the kitchen, breakfast nook, hall, dining room, living room, laundry, powder room, and office — creating a seamless flow through the entire main level.
- Cabinetry installed
Medallion Lancaster Painted cabinets went in throughout — a warm Chai Latte finish for the perimeter and a bold Perfect Storm for the island, both with soft-close doors and drawers, dovetail joinery, and full-extension drawer boxes. Smart storage details like tray dividers, a waste bin cabinet, cutlery dividers, and a lazy Susan corner were all part of the plan.
- Countertops and backsplash
Tesora Dolomiti quartz countertops were cut and installed with an eased edge, including a knee wall cap. A tile backsplash completed the look behind the range wall.
- Sink, faucet, and pot filler
A Kraus Kore 32” undermount single basin sink in gunmetal was set into the perimeter, paired with a Kraus Oletto commercial-style faucet in antique champagne bronze. A wall-mounted Kraus pot filler was installed at the range — a chef-worthy touch that completes the cooking zone.
- Finishing details
New baseboard trim was matched and installed at all new flooring transitions. Island pendant light fixtures (homeowner-supplied) were hung. The homeowner handled painting and appliance installation to round out the finished space.
