Why should I choose Eagle Construction?
We’re a small, family-owned business, so you get to know all of us, and you’ll never have random faces you haven’t met show up to work. You’ll work first hand with our owner, George “Rob”, throughout the entire process. His attention to detail, over 30 years of experience and customer first mentality will leave you feeling that your home is in the right hands.
Our in-house experts pay close attention to every detail, from the initial planning all the way through final inspection and cleanup. For every job, you can expect a fair pre-work estimate, reasonable fees, timely arrivals, and flexible scheduling options. Take a look through our portfolio for great examples of our work.
What about financing and payments?
At Eagle Construction, payment for your project is broken down into different stages of the construction process. Typically, your first down payment not only secures your project but also starts the ordering process of any special-order items. This helps ensure we have all the materials and tools required to accomplish the best work without delays.
Will there be a big mess during our project?
We try our best to keep your home clean during the remodeling process. When needed, we use zip-walls to separate and close off other rooms from dust and debris. The project space is cleaned of debris each day. At the end of your project, the area will receive a full “top to bottom” cleaning.
How do you handle communication with us during the project?
We can use phone, email, and in-person communication. Please don’t ever hesitate to reach out to us with any questions during your project. We can always be reached by phone or email. Throughout the process, Rob will also check-in to make sure the project is following his timeline and that no issues have arisen.
What areas do you serve?
We serve customers who live in and near Berks, Montgomery, Lehigh, and Chester Counties. We’re proud to say that our work has been recognized across Pennsylvania, and we’re also partners with the Home Builders Association of Berks County, the Pennsylvania Builders Association, and the National Association of Home Builders.
How long should my home remodeling project take?
The duration for any home remodeling project varies depending on the scope of the work. During your consultation, we will work with you to help provide an idea of how long your individual project may take. All of our construction agreements provide an approximate start and completion date for each project.
How much should I budget for my project?
Setting a budget for a home remodeling project can feel stressful, especially if you’ve never done it before. At Eagle Construction, we’re here to help you figure out the finer details of your project so all the costs are known. Keep in mind, many factors make up the cost of a home renovation, such as room size, the type of work needed, the cost of materials, and how big the project is. Each project is different according to the existing structure, the size of the job, and the wants and needs of the customer.
What kind of cabinets are best for my kitchen remodel?
As a distributor of KraftMaid Cabinets, we’re able to show you samples of cabinet styles as well as the different available finishes. If you’re just starting to think about redoing your cabinets, consider some of our general guidelines to help you decide what types of cabinets will look and function the best in your beautiful kitchen.
Do I have to worry about finding subcontractors and filing for permits?
Eagle Construction partners with reliable subcontractors who we’ve worked with for several years and whose work has met our high-quality standards. We will file for all of your construction permits so you can rest with peace of mind that your project is in great hands.
What is the process for a remodeling project?
Eagle Construction takes your remodeling project very seriously. That’s why when you choose us, you’re choosing a contractor that will give you special attention, and we strive to be your contractor for life. Here’s what to expect:
- Initial Meeting – An in-home consultation to get a sense of the scope of the project and most importantly, to see if we are the right fit for one another.
- Site Evaluation – This is a measurement of the current space to determine what work needs to be done for your project.
- Design Kick-Off Meeting – Discussion of the initial design and hearing out any concerns.
- Preliminary Design Phase – Detailed computer-aided designs drawn up for review.
- Design & Budget Overview – Project overview, tentative design, and project budget determined.
- Final Design Development Phase – Modifying proposal as needed.
- Construction Agreement & Deposit – Setting construction agreement and putting down deposit.
